Kennel cough is a syndrome : a group of clinical signs (typically acute dry & fitful cough) that can be caused by several pathogens, acting alone or together (which obviously kind of make things a little bit more complicated...). 

Viruses, bacteria and even parasites can be involved in the disease. Watch our short video below to find out more about them :

Generally speaking, we tend to say that :

- the time between exposure and onset of clinical signs ranges from 3-10 days ;

- In most cases, clinical signs are mild and may resolve spontaneously withing a matter of days ; affected dogs are not shedding pathogens anymore after 14 days.
